A modern and hip salon specializing in crafted haircuts and hair color. Contempo Artistries Salon offers a vibrant and inviting atmosphere where you can kick back, relax, unwind and let our team do what they do best! The customized haircuts and hair color that we create are as unique as each one of our guests. Our team of talented stylists and certified colorists immerse themselves in continuing education classes, beauty conventions, and seminars so that they may bring you the very latest trends and techniques in hair cutting, hair coloring, hair extensions, and re-texturizing services. At Contempo Artistries Salon we believe in beauty, style, and the confidence that these things can bring to our guests. This is what inspires us.

COLOR - All Over: Color from roots to ends, all one shade (current color level or darker ONLY - if you are unsure, book a consultation or call the salon).
COLOR - Retouch: Solid color touch up at the root only (no highlights or on scalp bleach).
DUAL - Enhancement: Root retouch and 10-12 highlights, strategically placed for maximum impact.
DUAL - Half: Root retouch and half a head of highlights.
DUAL - Full: Root retouch and a full head of highlights.
HL+HP - Enhancement: 10-12 highlights, strategically placed for maximum impact.
HL+HP - Half: Half a head of highlights.
HL+HP - Full: Full head of highlights.
HAIRCUT Bang Trim: A quick trim of preexisting bangs.
HC - Childs: A dry trim for children 10 and under.
HC - Short Clipper: A haircut with clippers.
HC - Standard: A standard haircut (basic trims, long layers, clean ups using scissors).
HC - Standard Create: Transformation haircuts, hair donations, and cuts that require advanced techniques and more time to perform. (If you have thick hair or are making a big change, this is for you.)
STYLE - Blowout Long: A wash and blowout.
TONE - Full: A gloss to tone lightened hair.
TREATMENT - Keratherapy: A heavy-duty smoothing treatment to reduce frizz, improve manageability, and speed up blowdry time.
WAX - Brow/Lip/Chin: A brow, lip, or chin wax with complimentary aloe vera application.
CONSULT: A 15 minute consultation with a stylist to discuss plans for your hair. If you aren't sure which service is for you or if you are looking to book for a service that is not listed, you can schedule this to discuss plans with one of our stylists or call the salon at (724) 838-8100.

Every time I go to get my hair done every one is so nice , My hair stylist Angie is awesome, been going g to here fir several years now, always happy with the colors and cuts she comes up with, not afraid to experiment, all the girls are awesome, highly recommend Contempo Artistries

I’m here to say what a wonderful staff and owner. I have been going there for many years.
Recently I had to have rotator cuff and bicep surgery. I had a stroke in my 30s that left me with paralysis to my left hand, which I cannot use. After the surgery I had no hands and would go there to have them blowdry and flat iron my hair. They all worked as a team to help me during this time. This was my second visit to Contempo, as well as my second appt with Lindsey…and it was wonderful in every way! This is the first time doing a curly hair experience. It was worth every penny. Jen is friendly and willing to answer any questions. She is extremely knowledgeable and doesn’t try to push any specific products on you. She takes her time and wants you to be happy when you leave. I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

This was first time visiting Contempo…and man was I impressed!!!!! Starting with the welcome I got…to Lindsey…and to checkout…everyone was so friendly and make you feel so welcome 👍. My stylist is Angie and I absolutely love her! The time she takes to cut my hair, her knowledge and just the “artists” eye for what she’s doing is great. She also knows the right products to use on my hair to bring out my curls. My cut is perfect, I get lots of compliments! And on a side note, Angie is extremely friendly and we get along so well. It’s like visiting a good friend everytime I go.
